Ultra-osseointegration with Piezo Electric bone surgery

Ultra-osseointegration was introduced for the first time at the "1st Piezoelectric Bone Surgery International Symposium", held in Lugano, Switzerland in May 2011.

This is a beginning of a new era in Implant treatment. Piezoelectric Bone Surgery has many advantages. Rather than drilling an implant socket, we use Piezoelectric bone surgery. It is less traumatic on the bone, more accurate and it utilises Ultrasound, rather than drilling, for Implant site preparation. It has been used for over 10 years with extensive clinical and histological advantages over conventional techniques.

Less trauma and better accuracy leads to improved quicker healing and better integrated implants which are more stable.
